I know there are some Michael Buble and/or Josh Groban fans on my flist.
First, if anyone has Michael's new DVD and can cap a couple of pics for me, I would be eternally grateful. I need a Michael/Josh icon, and I can't cap the DVD on my stupid computer. *kicks it* I can't find any screencaps anywhere. :(
I don't even know where to *begin* talking about this DVD, but I think I'll start with the slash.
1. After he makes his way through the audience and back to the stage, Michael grins and says, "I'd like to thank the gentleman way in the back for grabbing my ass like that. You know who you are, big boy."
2. Michael/Josh *squee*
Italics are sung bits. :)
Michael: I've decided I don't want to sing anymore jazz or standards. I'm sorry you guys. Look at the little looks on your faces. Is he kidding? Is he serious? I'm serious. I don't even like jazz to be honest with you. Jazz is like...It's like "Oh, let's see how many notes...how many funky notes we can put in just a few little bars." Oh, whatever. Boo-hoo. Get your money back. Get your money back. Jazz is like a great blues band that fell down the stairs. That's what it is. I'm tired of what I'm doing. I'd like to start by kicking Josh Groban's little butt.
*sings operatic version of "I Will Survive" while clearly trying not to laugh*
*Josh enters from stairs looking deliciously scruffy*
*audience erupts into cheers*
Michael: Okay, please. Please. *wraps an arm around Josh and walks them down stage*
Josh: Michael, Michael, Michael.*impersonates Michael* Michael, you're doing an amazing job by the way.
Josh: Michael Buble, everybody.
*Michael hugs him*
Michael: Ladies and gentlemen, everybody. I had no clue. I had no clue you were coming out like this.
Josh: I've heard about this gag... I've heard about this impersodillation (Josh's word, not a typo) for quiet some time...But I heard it tonight *pauses with a pained look on his face* And you don't do it right
Michael: *laughs* Are we doing something? For fun?
Josh: No, cause I'm going back home.
Michael: Don't leave. Don't go.
Josh: I'm going home.
Michael: *hugs him* Ladies and gentlemen, my buddy, Josh Groban.
Josh: I know you hate jazz all of a sudden, but stick to it!
Michael: Can we do an impersonation of each other? I'll do a bit of one of your tunes, and you do a bit of one of my tunes?
Josh: Go for it.
*"Broken Vow" starts*
Michael: What are the words?
Josh: You're on your own, Michael. *sits on stairs*
Michael: Okay, can I do, let me do...Who can say for certain? Maybe you're still...
Josh: Am I Kermit the Frog? What's going on?
Michael: I can't do it. Let me try... You raise me up (and apparently he did something inappropriate with the mic here, but it got cut from the DVD *veg*)
Josh: That was absolutely perfect.
Michael: I know you can do it.
Josh:Fly me to the moon and let the *hums/ad-libs* In other words...
Michael: Hold my hand
Josh: All right *grabs his hand* In other words
Michael: I love you.
Josh: I love you. Michael Buble!
Michael: Josh Groban! Groban! Give him your love! *another hug*
Josh: I'm watching you. I'm watching all of you!
Michael: Listen, Josh, you're good, okay? I didn't mean I wanted to kick your butt. I don't want to do Sinatra anymore. He just inspired me. I want to be a pop singer. I'm gonna be like Michael Jackson, but not like Michael Jackson at all. *launches into cover of "This Love"*
3. There are just cute little comic bits all through out it. Even if he didn't sing a single note, the DVD would be worth every penny. *g* Whether mimicing Josh or Casey Kasem or audience members, he's hilarious.
4. From the extras:
Michael: I don't really get nervous. The trouble's not getting on stage, the problem's getting off...Did that come out right?
I haven't watched a DVD this much since Jesus Christ Superstar and, trust me, that's saying something.

*dies laughing* This makes my day, right here. I'm very sorry I don't have that dvd--I wasn't even aware Michael had come out with a new one! (Bad fan, bad!) But I do hope you find the screencaps you're looking for!

*g* I wasn't sure what to expect with the DVD since I'm a rather new Buble fan, but I absolutely love it. Michael and Josh are amazing enough separately, but together they're just too much goodness for words. ;) Now, if one of them would just do a duet with Linda Eder, my musical wishlist would be complete. *g*
