There are times when I'm very happy to be on the fringes of fandom. I don't really know any details about what's going on, but I do know that a lot of people on my flist are hurting. I'm sorry that you're all going through this, especially when fandom is suppose to be about us coming together because of something we all enjoy.

I only understood very little about what is going on too, but, to be honest, it's one of the times when I'm glad I'm not deeply involved with the fandom. I always avoid the big drama and that can only be good, right?

*nods* I'm only too happy to avoid the drama. I've been in fandoms where it sort of overwhelmed the actual *fandom*, and I don't want any part of that. We shouldn't be turning on each other when there are much bigger problems out there. Anyway, that's my two-cents worth. ;)

That's what I always thought too. I mean, we're in a fandom because we all believe and enjoy the same thing, more or less. Is there really a need to be mean to each other? *shrugs*

Fandoms come and go, but I still have friends from every fandom I've ever been involved with. That's what's important. As much as I adore Viggorli, you guys keep me here more than anything.

I miss you, too, honey! My YIMs been acting up, so it probably wouldn't matter. *hugs* Love you, sweetheart!

Oh! I saw your 'no spoilers post.' I'm going to get it in the morning, and I can't wait! *giddy*

I have my copy sent by Amazon, so that will probably take ages to come. OotP came 3 weeks after the release. But my dad was a sweetheart and found me a scan of the book, so it'll probably keep me busy all Sunday.
