Okay, I'm not exactly a huge Bon Jovi fan (though I could easily become one), but they were on CMT Crossroads last night (with Sugarland), and there was nothing else to watch, so I did. Aside from melting at the look Jon had on his face during "Baby Girl", I also found this comment especially giggle-worthy:
Jon: You know what's great? There's gonna be no living with Richie Sambora now because he's got this beautiful blond girl going up to him like this *imitates dance* while he's playing the talk box. 'Cause if he expects me to start doing that he's outta his mind. It ain't happening.
Richie: You've been doing that to me for years. *grin*
A friend called yesterday to "warn" me that another friend of ours had gotten engaged and was calling everyone to tell them. I feel bad because I really don't want to talk to her. I'm not even quite sure why. She was one of my best friends in high school (as was the guy), and I should be thrilled for her, although according to friend #1, she didn't sound all that excited herself. The three of us have had kind of an odd friendship since high school, so maybe it's drifting more than anything else. Friend #1 and I have kept in touch, and still talk and see each other on a regular basis, but we seem to only see friend #2 when she doesn't have anything better to do. *sighs*
